Maratha Mandal's Central Research Laboratory established in the year 2004, now shifted to a new premises of 10,500 Sq ft, with facilities for Oral microbiology, Molecular biology, Immunology, Cell culture and Natural products in Drug Discovery.
MMCRL is recognized as the "Nodal reference center for research work in Oral microbiology" under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and also recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi. Only centre in India for cultivation and identification of anaerobic bacteria from oral cavity having more than 34 MOUs with various universities, academic institutions, industrial setups and NITM (ICMR).
